Why rentals and an academy.
Most people who want to DJ in Sri Lanka hit the same two walls: the gear is expensive, and the good instruction is in English.
So we do both. Rent the club-standard rig for a weekend instead of buying it. Learn on that exact rig, in Sinhala, from someone who plays it. When the first paid gig comes, nothing in the booth is unfamiliar — and you know who to call for the kit.
